The Working Hands Fibre Arts Studio is a design and production space in the beach community of White Rock, BC, in the Pacific Northwest region of Canada. Small classes run throughout the year in knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, stitching, and dyeing in this peaceful environment. Sometimes we just gather to celebrate the lovely, hard working people that come to work here. Classes are also offered away from the studio at fibre festivals and retreats. These events are advertised on the schedule page.
The studio opened in October 2007 on Vancouver’s Granville Island, a few steps from the seawall and ocean, to provide a supportive learning and working environment, where beautiful handmade pieces could be created with simple tools. We spent the summer of 2009 in a beautiful garden studio in Fort Langley, then opened the cottage studio near the White Rock beach in November 2009.
If you are interested in joining a small class for quality instruction in a comfortable setting, please visit the schedule page on this site and email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
